Branding is what turns a commodity container into part of your product, and on moulded fibre it works
differently from printing on a plastic box. Here is how a custom programme actually runs.
The two ways to brand bagasse tableware
| Embossed or debossed logo | The mark is formed into the fibre by the mould — it is part of the product, cannot rub off, and reads well in the hand. |
|---|---|
| Food-grade soy-ink printing | Printed branding in food-grade soy ink, for marks and detail that embossing cannot carry. |
Those are the two routes we offer on the tableware itself. We would rather confirm what is achievable
on your specific product than promise a technique up front — so tell us the model and the artwork, and
we will come back with what can be done.
How an OEM or ODM project runs
- 1. You send the brief. The model, the target size or shape, the artwork and the
market you sell into. - 2. We check the mould. If an existing size fits, we say so and quote it directly.
If a new size or shape is needed, we tell you whether tooling is required and what it involves —
before you commit to anything. - 3. Tooling, where needed. Tooling cost is assessed per design, so the figure
depends on the part rather than on a flat rate. - 4. Sample. About 7 days when no new mould is needed. When new tooling is
involved, that step comes first. - 5. Production and shipping. Once the sample is approved we run the order, pack
to the specifications shown on the product page, and arrange delivery to your port.
What this article does not promise
- No fixed tooling price. It is assessed per design — a figure quoted before the
design is known would be a guess. - No timeline for new-mould projects. Sampling runs about 7 days when no new mould
is needed; tooling adds a step, and we will not put a number on it before we have seen the design. - No paper sleeves or stickers. Branding is on the tableware itself, not on a
printed outer sleeve.
Where to start
If you are looking at custom logo bagasse clamshell or OEM biodegradable food
containers, the sensible first move is the sample route: pick the closest model from
clamshells,
bowls & cups,
plates,
trays or
packaging, and see how the unprinted product performs with
your food before the branding question is settled. Full list on the
collections page.
Next step
Send the model, the target quantity and your artwork, and we will confirm the branding method, the
tooling position and the next step.
