Clamshells

Compostable bagasse tableware — factory-direct, wholesale and OEM/ODM.

Seventeen hinged containers and boxes: clamshells from 8" to 10" in 1-, 2- and 3-compartment versions, two 6" hamburger boxes, 600 ml and 1000 ml lunch boxes, and a 1100 ml box. All are pressed from sugarcane bagasse and compostable. This is the largest family on the site, and several models are made in more than one compartment layout — send us the model and we will confirm packing and container loading for your port.

Frequently asked questions

Will a clamshell leak with sauce or gravy?

The fibre is pressed at high pressure, which is what gives the finished surface its oil and water resistance — there is no added plastic coating. We run oil and leak-resistance tests on production.

Do clamshells hold up to hot food?

Bagasse is heat resistant to about 100–120 °C, tolerates short-term oven exposure up to 200 °C, and is freezer-safe to about −20 to −25 °C.

Are the containers compostable?

Yes. Bagasse is compostable: under commercial composting conditions it breaks down in about 45–90 days, and in a home compost heap in about 90–180 days. Actual time depends on temperature, moisture and how the item is handled. We hold FDA, BPI, LFGB, EN13432 and OK Compost certification.

Can we print our brand on the lid?

Yes — embossed or debossed logo and food-grade soy-ink printing. Tooling cost is assessed per design, and sampling takes about 7 days when no new mould is needed.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is 100 cartons per model.
