Eleven tray items: rectangular and square trays, shallow and deep trays, and compartment trays — including 3- and 5-compartment versions, two 1000 ml compartment containers and a 27 oz salad box. Pressed from sugarcane bagasse, a renewable by-product of sugar production, and compostable. They suit canteens, catering and takeaway where one tray has to carry several items. Sizes, packing and container loading are listed on each product page, and samples can be arranged before a full order.
Frequently asked questions
Can bagasse trays hold hot and oily food?
The fibre is pressed at high pressure, which is what gives the finished surface its oil and water resistance — there is no added plastic coating. We run oil and leak-resistance tests on production.
Are the trays microwave and freezer safe?
Bagasse is heat resistant to about 100–120 °C, tolerates short-term oven exposure up to 200 °C, and is freezer-safe to about −20 to −25 °C.
How many trays fit in a container?
Every product page lists the pieces per carton, carton size, carton volume and how many cartons fit in a 20GP or 40HQ container.
Are the trays compostable?
Yes. Bagasse is compostable: under commercial composting conditions it breaks down in about 45–90 days, and in a home compost heap in about 90–180 days. Actual time depends on temperature, moisture and how the item is handled. We hold FDA, BPI, LFGB, EN13432 and OK Compost certification.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is 100 cartons per model.
